How to get to Mar del Plata City
1. By plane
Ezeiza International Airport is quite far from the domestic flights airport (downtown): Aeroparque Jorge Newbury, and frequency of daily flights to Mar del Plata is not very intensive, so this option is recommended if you want to stay few days in the city of Buenos Aires, before the start of the Symposium. The flight to Mar del Plata takes 45 min. If you select this option, should approach any of the remises offices, located at the departure hall at the Ezeiza airport and either request a transfer to Aeroparque Jorge Newbury or to your hotel in Buenos Aires.

2. By Bus directly from the Ezeiza International Airport
Approaching offices Tienda León (Web Page www.tiendaleonmdq.com) located in the departure hall at the Ezeiza airport and ask for a transfer to Mar del Plata. These buses depart about every two hours. The bus trip takes 6 hours. (The countryside can be seen from the bus is the typical “Pampa Argentina”, mostly fields and livestock).

The Astor Piazzolla international airport is located only 10 minutes away from downtown.
Three airlines offer different national destinations with more than forty weekly flights that increase during the summer season. About four trains reach the city daily, and the trip from Buenos Aires takes around five hours.
The modern and safe Autovía 2 joins Buenos Aires city with Mar del Plata in a four-hour trip (404 km).
Three roads (11, 88 and 226) also connect Mar del Plata with Buenos Aires and the rest of the country.
More than fifty bus companies link the city with the rest of the country. The journey from Buenos Aires lasts approximately 5 hours.
