The International Symposium of Outfall Systems is organized jointly by the IAHR/IWA Joint Committee on Marine Outfall Systems, ENOHSA (Ente Nacional de Obras Hídricas de Saneamiento, National Entity of Water and Sanitation Works of Argentina), OSSE (Obras Sanitarias Mar del Plata Sociedad de Estado, Mar del Plata Sanity Public Work), and MGP (Municipalidad de General Pueyrredón, Municipality of General Pueyrredon).
The venue, Mar del Plata, is the principal seaside resort of Argentina. Located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean is 400 km. south of the city of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. ENOHSA is presently constructing an outfall there, the first in the country, and one of the largest in Latin America.
Being the first time this event is organized in Mar del Plata, as representatives of the organizing institutions we give our welcome to all colleagues and hope you can perform a great job and enjoy the hospitality and natural beauty of the city.
